  I am at the point I need comfortable shoes that can live through my travels. I need stylish, comfort and a shoe that can adapt. I love Dansko and Naot but you can only find so many cute non ortho looking shoes in a brand. I looked everywhere for this Lissandra in Chestnut and found them. I called Goodman's to confirm the sizing due to the cost I wanted to get it right. He held them until I placed my order (within minutes of hanging up the phone) and I got them earlier than expected. I love the fact they look like they buckle but they have Velcro. I travel to some hot climates, my feet will swell a bit and then I end up with blisters from shoes I can wear comfortably any other time. I love the foot bed, these are an investment and cost a lot but I have learned buy a few good, comfortable shoes that will hold up over time and give my feet and body the support they need.As for sizing, I wear a 9.5 and in most Euro sizes I take a 40 (sizing up to an equivalent of a 10) but in Dansko I wear a 41 as well as in Naot. Now that generally translates to a size US 11. In Mephisto a 41 is a size 11 so I was scared to spend almost $300 with tax on the wrong size but I was told if I wear a 41 in the other comparable brands I should order a 41 and I will say it fits my 9.5M US size perfectly with just a little room at the end of the footbed, but in the sense of the proper amount, not too much. I added they fit as expected based on the guidance I received but not how the size chart translates Euro to US sizing.

  These sandals are pretty and very comfortable but they are for narrow feet and they run small. I’m usually a size 8 but I’m going to see if size 9 will fit me. I wish they would have half sizes.

  I’m a size 10. These fit perfectly in a 42/12. I have danskos that are 41s, and some that fit a little looser that are 42s, but this 42 is not loose, or in any way overlong. If i had gone a size up from what the charts say my size is, these would still have been too small in a 41. So you may well need to go up two sizes. I have no idea why size charts that translate EU to US sizes are so consistently off—at least for a size ten. That said, the medium width fit my slightly wide foot perfectly—sometimes I take a wide, sometimes a medium. I’d say the fit of this shoe in a 42 is comparable to how a dansko Sophie fits in a 41. I cannot see how anyone who is actually an 11 or a 12 would be able to wear these. These are supportive, light weight, comfortable and expensive. I got the black with the lovely textured gold pattern on the front—very pretty in person! I’m grateful to the other reviewers for flagging the size problem!

  The size 12 is what was ordered/sent but the fit is the same as the 11 I tried at a shoe store. I really like the style, color, comfort!! I so wish they fit.

  I love these wedges! I spent the last couple of years wearing Birkenstock’s flats. I had no idea wether I could even walk in heels anymore. As it turns out Mephisto wedges, Sanita wooden sandals are what me feet can handle. They have arch support, a fully cushioned footbed and the wedge sole thins out in the back but not so much as to make me wobbly. I am so happy with the Mephisto Lissandra!I want to thank the seller, Legend Footwear in the UK I needed these in the US next day and they made it happen!

  These sandals are the best. I have an older pair in blue and have worn them almost completely out. I have admired the black & gold pair for awhile. I gave them a 4 for the 'value for the money' because they are an expensive sandal to purchase. However, they fit very well (true to size) and go with everything!

  This is the perfect summer wedge, especially for somebody who really WALKS!! I have a tendency to turn my ankle and this shoe is so sturdy and "sure-footed." Wish more colors were available, but I think I am lucky to get a pair now. They were no longer available in my size on the Mephisto website.

  These mephisto sandals are so comfortable you can walk and stand all day! The color goes well with so many outfits and occasions. I have this sandal in 2 other colors and love them all!

  It's dressy enough and what it lacks in "fancy-ness," it more than makes up for in comfort. It's expensive but it is worth it. My Summer "dress" shoe.
